Born in Kaş in 2024 to make movement something anyone can join. It grew into a community of its own: every activity is free, open to all and built on sharing. Alongside a regular calendar of running, yoga, swimming, hiking and pilates, the group has run shelter visits with the Kaş Animal Friends Association, litter picks with the Birlikte Temizleyelim Kaş team and a shoreline clean-up under the WWF Beach Adoption Project. There have been game nights, open-mic evenings and parties too. Heliz Active is now becoming a registered association, so that it can do all of this on a larger and steadier footing.
Founded to put on carefully designed events that are worth remembering. Its first large organisation, the Heliz Kaş Half Marathon 2025, drew a strong turnout and a real sense of occasion. Next comes the Heliz Kaş Ultra Trail, the first trail race ever held in Kaş, and after it a calendar of camps, festivals and community gatherings.
This is where the balanced food products Heliz makes will sit, next to the keepsakes designed for Heliz Event races. Special collections, short print runs and pieces made for this community — the Heliz experience, in everyday life.
Heliz already talks to its community every week through the active social accounts of Heliz Active, Heliz Event, the Kaş Half Marathon and the Kaş Ultra Trail. The plan from here is to make original programmes for the YouTube channel, widen the range of digital content and publish an e-magazine — so that Heliz is as present in media as it is on the road.
